My husband, Eric, and I moved from the Washington, D.C. suburbs to Haywood County in early 2012 to escape the crowds and congestion of the metro area. We love the community, lifestyle and natural beauty in Western North Carolina. This is what we enjoy the most about being in the mountains:

Our household is very busy with visits from family and friends coming to enjoy both
the peaceful tranquility and fun activities in Western North Carolina. When we moved here, our sons were in college. At first, they missed their friends in Virginia, but soon their friends wanted to come to the mountains to visit. Our entire family loves it here!
