Lynda Bennett has lived in Western North Carolina since 1983. As the old saying goes “I wasn’t born here, but I got here as soon as I could.”

Born and raised in Middle Georgia, she graduated from High School in Atlantic Beach, FL outside of Jacksonville. She graduated from college at the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Environmental Resources. Worked in Yakima, Washington on an orchard for several years before moving to Hendersonville, NC to work for a magazine, The Mother Earth News. When the magazine relocated to New York; Lynda stayed in Western North Carolina and got her real estate license. She has been actively selling real estate full time since 1986. She is married and has two step daughters.

Lynda is focused on providing the services requested by the sophisticated, discriminating client. "Our market has changed over the years and we are constantly challenged to remain on the cutting edge of technology and knowledgeable about the services available in the marketplace. We have a niche market here; it is a resort market. I know this market."

Her husband, Pat Bennett, has been in the Real Estate business since 1978. Together they were the owner/brokers of REALTY WORLD-Heritage Realty from 1979 to 2007 when the business was purchased by two associate Brokers. Under Pat and Lynda's ownership REALTY WORLD- Heritage Realty is not only one of the oldest firms in Haywood County but is one of the top 5 companies in sales production.
